DESCRIPTION
Big dog. Big personality. Big heart. Meet TIMMS!
Timms is one handsome boy with a gorgeous black coat, giant floppy ears, and a personality that comes at full speed! He's a big boy who hasn't quite figured out just how big he is. He absolutely LOVES other dogs, being with his people and giving hugs. He's happiest when he has a canine buddy to romp around with and keep up with his playful energy.
Timms is currently in foster care, and after a short time, he's already made some great strides. He is quiet and comfortable in his crate, settles nicely, and is learning the day-to-day manners that will help him be his very best self.
Timms would love a family willing to continue giving him the structure, training, patience, and love he deserves. He's a big, goofy, affectionate boy with so much potential-and he's ready to keep learning, growing, playing, and loving his way into a family of his own.
Think Timms might be your guy? Apply online at www.sfcva.org and give this lovable goofball the chance to become part of your family!
ABOUT: BLACK LABRADOR RETRIEVER DOG BREED
The black Labrador Retriever is a popular and versatile breed known for its friendly nature, intelligence, and loyalty. They are agile, keen swimmers with a strong work ethic, making them excellent hunting and service dogs. Their glossy black coat is low maintenance and sheds minimally, while their friendly temperament makes them great family pets. Black Labs are known for their outgoing personalities and eagerness to please, making them loving companions in various roles and settings.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
