DESCRIPTION
Brooke is a beautiful black lab mix who is about 3 years old, 50 pounds, spayed, and medically up to date. She’s just recently arrived with us, so we’re still getting to know her personality—but so far, we can tell she’s a pretty sweet girl.
Brooke can take a little moment to warm up to new people and surroundings, but once she realizes you’re a friend, her gentle side really starts to shine. And if you happen to have a little cheese handy? Well… that’s definitely the fastest way to her heart.
She’s still settling in, so we’re learning more about her each day. For now, we know she’s a soft-hearted pup who just needs a little patience and kindness to feel comfortable.
If you’re looking for a loyal companion and don’t mind sharing a snack or two, Brooke might be the perfect match for you!
Since many of our adoptable dogs are in foster homes, appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!
Our adoption fees include the following: all of our dogs/puppies are current on vaccinations (DHPP and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, heartworm tested and current on preventative, microchipped, treated for fleas/ticks and are spayed or neutered. Our large dog adoption fee is generally $175 + tax. Our small dog and puppy adoption fee is generally $300+ tax. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Due to space limitations, we do not hold dogs.
Because we are on a busy street, we require that all dogs leaving the shelter be in a carrier or on leash. All pets remain up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee paid.
