Oh Pickles! This pretty girl has had a rough life. She had people, everyone became homeless, they stayed together as long as they could, but they all went hungry. She came to us a little traumatized and starving. She did not do well in the kennel setting, but has done so much better in a foster home. She is fearful to shy, especially with males, but will warm up. She prefers to be with another dog and does well with large and small dogs and seems indifferent to cats. Do you have a great dog that would like to teach her the ropes? She needs a patient home, as she will need a longer than average time to adjust. Wouldn't you if that was how your life started out?

We are an all volunteer-based organization that does not have a building or a staff, only 8 members with jobs and families, trying to make a difference. We do not have the volunteer manpower to show animals to non-approved applicants. If your application gets screened and approved, we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet and you can decide if this is the right pet for you.
