Life's what you bake it with Piper Pupcake, a 4 and 1/2 month-old (11/3) Black Lab / Boxer mix, weighing 32 pounds (as of 11/3/26). The PUPCAKES surprised their owner in Tennessee when they were unexpectedly born holding baked goods straight from the oven. How sweet! These pups are serving looks AND slices!
Piper Pupcake is such a perfect puppy! Quite frankly, if we could afford another dog, she’d be a foster fail! She’s cute as can be, smart, and so loving. She is the best evening cuddler and will inch closer and closer to snuggle as much as possible. She’s also the type of dog that will follow you room to room and even sit outside the bathroom waiting for you. She wants to be with her people!
She loves other dogs and gets along great with the two resident dogs she lives with. She also has had several puppy playdates that were so much fun! In fact, I think that’s why she likes going for car rides so much now; she is hoping for play time. Speaking of play, Piper is a master at fetch. She quickly realized that if she drops the ball, you’ll throw it again! Her favorite! She enjoys her toys and does a great job keeping herself entertained while I’m working remotely.
She’s well socialized and has been to a pig roast, an outdoor concert, a party, a pumpkin festival, a farm, a street fair, a softball game and even trick-or-tricking. She lives with teenagers but has been thrilled to meet so many kids of all ages on her outings. She lights up when she sees them, probably because they all adore her and smother her with attention.
Piper knows sit and come and has successfully potty-trained! She sleeps perfectly in her crate every night and hilariously sometimes takes her blankets out and brings them to other dog beds when she gets up.
Piper loves her walks and hikes. She’s a great hiking companion and really enjoys exploring. Her leash skills are a work in progress so she’ll need to continue training to stay focused and less zig-zaggy but she is very young and still learning. She’s very food motivated which is great for training.
Piper Pupcake has learned so much since arriving in MA. She can’t wait to meet her own family and jump into their routine. She’d do well with any family that recognizes what a gem she is and would love her as much as we do. Who will be the lucky one to scoop her up?
All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application.
