Black Labrador Retriever Dogs Available for Adoption

Hi, I'm Leo.
I'm about 8 years old, weigh around 50 pounds, and I'm a black lab.

I may be a little older, but I still have plenty of energy. I love to run, explore, and stay active, and I enjoy being on the move just as much as I enjoy spending time with people. I'm very friendly, social, and happiest when I'm included in whatever's going on.

I do well with other dogs, cats, and kids. I'd be just fine as an only dog or sharing my home with canine friends. I'm house trained, crate trained, and continuing to improve my leash skills-and I'm doing really well with it.

When I came into rescue, I was found as a stray and was skin and bones. Because of malnutrition earlier in life, I recently had 29 teeth removed during a dental procedure. Despite that, I'm feeling good, eating well, and thriving. I'm neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative.

I'd love a home with a fenced yard and an active family who understands that I still enjoy movement and adventure. I don't let my past slow me down-I'm focused on enjoying life, loving people, and making the most of every day.
