Black Labrador Retriever and Shepherd Dogs Available for Adoption
ARCHIE
Black Labrador Retriever, Shepherd
🇺🇸
Lewiston, Idaho
February 26th
male, medium, adult
DESCRIPTION
Archie is still looking for his home. He went to the PAWS program to be trained as a companion and stability partner. Archie didn't complete the program because he a little reactive when meeting new people. This is his only fault! After a few minutes he is just fine. Archie turned 1 year in December. Archie will be one year old this week. He is 55% lab, then mostly German Shepard with a couple other mixes. His lab shines through and through. He carries a ball or a bone everywhere he goes, loves water, and listens and follows his leader. Archie is a gentle soul and was the quiet, snuggly one of his litter. He was quickly adopted by a family but returned after a few months due to a parting. His previous mom said he was great with their son, 6, and is a total mamma's boy. Archie wants to be with his people all the time but is fully crate trained and house broken. He does not jump fences. He does have a high prey drive and would be the perfect hunting companion. Archie just spent a week at Snake River 4 Paws for boarding where he did great meeting new people, sometimes he can be a bit standoffish. Archie is neutered, vaccinated, house and kennel trained.
