DESCRIPTION
Meet Sailor - New Arrival!
Sailor, a five-month-old male currently weighing a bit under 10 lbs., just arrived at the adoption center and is still getting settled in, so we're just beginning to learn who they are. Right now, everything is new-new people, new sounds, new routines-and we're giving them time to relax, decompress, and show us their true personality at their own pace.
Since Sailor is a recent arrival, we don't have much background information or many personality notes yet, but we'll be updating their profile as we get to know them better. Every day reveals something new, and we're excited to learn all the little quirks, preferences, and habits that make them unique.
If you're open to a little patience and a lot of possibility, come meet Sailor! You might be the person who helps them feel safe, confident, and right at home.
Check back for updates-or stop by to say hello and discover who Sailor is becoming.
We are located at 307 W Broadway and open 11am-7pm, 7 days a week (excluding major holidays) - no appointment necessary.
ABOUT: BLACK LABRADOR RETRIEVER DOG BREED
The black Labrador Retriever is a popular and versatile breed known for its friendly nature, intelligence, and loyalty. They are agile, keen swimmers with a strong work ethic, making them excellent hunting and service dogs. Their glossy black coat is low maintenance and sheds minimally, while their friendly temperament makes them great family pets. Black Labs are known for their outgoing personalities and eagerness to please, making them loving companions in various roles and settings.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
