Obelix – 4-year-old Labrador Retriever × Belgian Malinois mix looking for an active home

📍 Currently in Vancouver, BC (transport possible to Vancouver Island, the Lower Mainland, and other areas of BC)

Obelix is a smart, energetic 4-year-old Lab × Malinois mix looking for a loving and active home. He is fully house-trained and kennel-trained, knows several commands, and is eager to keep learning. Obelix is incredibly intelligent and thrives when he gets regular physical exercise and mental stimulation.
He loves:
• Playing fetch
• Long walks and hikes
• Training and learning new things
• Food rewards (especially treats and apples!)
Obelix is friendly with people of all ages, although he may take a little time to warm up to new people. He generally does well with other dogs but may be somewhat reactive toward medium to large male dogs. He currently lives with a cat.
Because of his active and playful personality, Obelix would do best in:
✔ An experienced, active home
✔ A home with secure outdoor space
✔ A family able to provide ongoing exercise, enrichment, and training
✔ Preferably older children
🐶 Temperament: very fun, affectionate, and a fast learner who responds well to training.
💛 Reason for rehoming: One of his owners is currently hospitalized and facing a long recovery, and the family can no longer provide the time and care Obelix deserves.
We are hoping to find him a loving, committed home where he can continue to thrive.
