Cricket is a five-year-old Black and Tan Coonhound who was rescued in Mississippi by one of our partner rescues and brought up here for a chance at a happier future. Now he’s ready to find the family he’s been waiting for.

This handsome boy is very active, friendly, and always ready for the next adventure. Cricket loves being around people and does well with other dogs, but he is not good with cats.

At nearly 70 pounds, Cricket is a big, strong boy, so he would do best in a home with children over 10 years old.

Cricket would make a wonderful family dog for someone who enjoys being active and getting out to explore. Whether it’s long walks, hikes, or just spending time outdoors, he’s the kind of dog who is happiest when he’s by your side and on the move.

After his journey from Mississippi, Cricket is hoping his next stop will be a forever home.
