Tati is a beautiful 3 year old Bichon who was luckily released from a commercial breeder at a young age. Although she is petite at just 10 1/2 pounds, she is mighty. She is strong, smart and curious. The more comfortable she's gotten in her foster home, the more relaxed and inquisitive she's become. Her forever family will need to earn her trust and be patient as she learns the ins and outs of becoming a well-loved family member. A confident resident pup is required as she continues to model her behavior. She very much follows the cues of her foster fur brothers and sisters.
Tati is being fostered with dogs of her size and she gets along with everyone. She would enjoy a more playful companion. Children in her forever home should be older and respectful of dogs. Tati still startles at quick movements and loud noises. A fenced yard will be safest for her until she trusts her family to keep her safe. She is making good progress with house-training. Some regression in a new environment should be expected. Tati is crate trained during the day but enjoys sleeping in the bed with her pack.
Tati is spayed and had a dental with some extractions. She is up to date with vaccines and is microchipped. She is being fostered in Collegeville, Montgomery County. A home visit and meet and greet with all residents including pets is part of the application process.
