Lots of dogs are a little shy when they arrive at Muttvile. Berber the Bichon Frise was not. At all. He charged in like a long lost cousin, anxious to reconnect, physically if possible, with everybody in the room. It was impressive given his vision impairment, and, it turns out, pretty typical for this curly scamp, whose enthusiasm and navigational skills are supplemented by a sweet open heart. Clearly intelligent, occasionally vocal, he's a great match for an active household, sporty individualists or a cross-species rugby team in need of a seasoned fullback. Our advice? Come for a hug, settle in for a lap-based love fest, then take him home.
