Thought to be a Bichon mix, Winter shows many of the breed's charming qualities-she's sweet-natured, soft, and oh-so-snuggly once she feels safe.

After a tough start, Winter is now discovering the joys of being a real dog-playing with her dog friends, basking in the sunshine, and slowly but surely coming out of her shell. Each day brings a little more sparkle in her eye and bounce in her step.

She'll do best in a calm and supportive home with a friendly dog companion to show her the ropes, and a human who understands that confidence grows with time, love, and patience. Her progress already proves just how much heart she has-and how ready she is for someone to believe in her.
