Wendy - Bichon Frise and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Madison, Wisconsin

Meet Wendy! This sweet 7-year-old Bichon mix came to us as part of a puppy mill release with her puppies. Now that all of her little ones have found their forever homes, it's Wendy's turn to find a family of her own!

Wendy is doing wonderfully in her foster home and has quickly made herself right at home. She gets along beautifully with cats, dogs, and people, and she seems to really enjoy having other animals around. When she's excited-usually at mealtime or when her people come home-she'll run in happy circles through the house or spin in tight little circles. It's pretty adorable!

The rest of the time, Wendy is a wonderfully low-key lady. You'll most often find her napping on a dog bed, although she occasionally curls up on the sofa or settles into the hammock. She enjoys spending time outside exploring the backyard, though she isn't quite ready to venture out on walks just yet.

Wendy is also continuing to work on her house training. She has made tremendous progress, but she does still have an occasional accident indoors. With patience and consistency, we expect her skills to continue improving.

Overall, Wendy is a terrific, easygoing companion. She's friendly, cuddly, and happy to spend time with her people, but she's also perfectly content to relax on her own when needed. She could be a wonderful fit for an apartment or a house-and whether you're looking for a couch companion, a backyard buddy, or simply a sweet little friend to share your days with, Wendy may be your girl!
