DESCRIPTION
Meet Jules!
Jules may be a little shy when meeting new people, but beneath that timid exterior is an incredibly sweet girl who is just waiting to find her person. Give her a little time to warm up, and you'll discover a loving companion who enjoys affection and will happily snuggle up close, rubbing against you for extra pets and attention.
This smart girl already knows sit, down, shake, and stay, and she's crate trained too! Jules enjoys learning and responds especially well to tasty treats-hot dogs are one of her favorites.
Jules comes from the Ironwood State Prison Dog Foster Program. This unique program provides meaningful connections between dogs and incarcerated men while helping prepare dogs for successful adoption. During her time in the program, Jules practiced important skills such as leash walking, crate training, and good household manners, helping her become the wonderful companion she is today.
If you're looking for a gentle, loyal dog who will reward your patience with endless love and cuddles, Jules may be the perfect addition to your family.
ABOUT: BELGIAN SHEPHERD MALINOIS DOG BREED
The Belgian Shepherd Malinois is a versatile and intelligent working dog breed known for its agility, loyalty, and protective nature. Originating from Belgium, these medium-sized dogs have a distinctive short coat in shades of fawn with a black mask. Malinois excel in various roles such as military, police, search and rescue, and as loyal family companions. With proper training and socialization, the Belgian Shepherd Malinois thrives on mental stimulation and physical activity to channel its high energy levels effectively.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
