Belgian Shepherd Malinois and German Shepherd Dog Dogs Available for Adoption

River was surrendered to a shelter we help after his owner passed away. He was going to be euthanized because the shelter was full, so we had to help him quickly. We were able to save him because one of our fosters agreed to bring him into her home. He is a gorgeous boy, and he has completed his veterinary care. We hope River will find a new family soon who will always love him.

River is a gentle giant, and he still likes to snuggle. His former owner had a 5 year old child, so he is wonderful with young children.
He is well mannered and knows how to sit on command. He is house trained, leash trained and crate trained too. He loves other dogs of any age and size.

River is 10 months old and weighs 80 pounds. We think he’s a Belgian Shepherd mix and is full grown.

River is neutered, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. He is also microchipped, heartworm negative and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
