Parky is a 6 y/o boy whose owner had to surrender him due to serious health problems. He was a chunky 39 pounds when he arrived. He has been slowly trimming down but is not as active as others in his hound pack.
Parky has great house manners and use the dog door without a problem. He never gets into anything that doesn’t belong to the pack but does enjoy knocking over the basket with toys so that he can look them over and make his selection with ease!
Parky was a little possessive of people but has learned to share attention and pets with other beagles. Parky was an only dog for most of his life so living with a pack has been an adjustment. Parky is crate trained and goes into a kennel on command. He currently only is crated during mealtimes. Parky sleep on a dog bed near his human all night.
Parky loves attention and stayed close by at first. Parky now spends most of his time out in the yard occupied with beagle activities! He does come for some loving and always when cookie time is announced! He will be a wonderful addition to any family.
