Hi there, I'm **Billius**

I'm a 5-year-old Beagle mix with that classic hound charm and an easygoing personality to match. If you're looking for a laid-back, friendly companion who just wants to enjoy life at a comfortable pace, I might be your guy.

I get along well with just about everyone - big dogs, small dogs, older cats, and kids too! I'm a social boy with a gentle, friendly nature. Whether it's a quiet afternoon at home or a casual stroll around the neighborhood, I'm happy just being part of the family.

I'm leash trained and enjoy getting out for walks. As a hound, I love to use my nose and take in all the interesting smells along the way. I'm currently on a health journey, so I'll need a family committed to helping me stay at a healthy weight with regular exercise and a balanced routine. Nothing too intense - I'm more "moderate activity" than marathon runner - but consistency is key for me.

My ideal home would have:
A fenced backyard where I can safely explore and sniff
A family familiar with hounds (or willing to learn about us!)
A moderately active household to keep me moving and feeling my best

I'm pretty adaptable and would do well with many types of families, as long as the environment isn't overly high-energy all the time. I'm a relaxed, steady kind of guy who just wants companionship, structure, and love.

Adoption FEE: $400 which includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals.

A Mercy Full Project (MFP) Adoption Application MUST BE COMPLETED in order for you to be considered as a potential adopter. By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. You will be contacted by an Adoption Coordinator once your application has gone through the approval process. Please ONLY APPLY IF you are ready to commit to adoption.

All Dogs / Puppies / Cats / Kittens are up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, flea/heart worm prevention, and are microchipped prior to adoption. If you are meeting a puppy or kitten that is not ready for adoption there may be a waiting period until they are fully ready to go home.

Adoption fee - Along with the individual animals vetting and daily care costs, the adoption fee helps Mercy Full Project cover additional vet bills, maintain their facility, and cover the cost of their operations in order to rescue more animals in need.
