SCOUT
Scout is the sweetest little Beagle boy with a playful, curious personality. He is your typical happy, goofy puppy who loves to explore and discover the world around him. He absolutely loves playing with other dogs and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a fun, social puppy.
Scout has never met a cat, so we don't yet know how he would do with feline friends. He is working hard on his potty training and is **crate trained**, which gives his new family a great head start!
Scout is looking for a family who will continue his training, socialization, and development with patience and positive reinforcement.
**A little about Beagles:** Beagles are incredibly sweet, loving, social dogs, but they are also true hounds! They are curious, energetic, intelligent, and very driven by their noses. They can be stubborn at times and may have their own ideas about what they want to do. They thrive with consistency, patience, exercise, companionship, and positive training.
Because of this, we strongly recommend that anyone unfamiliar with the Beagle breed take some time to research what living with a Beagle is really like before applying. The perfect home for Scout will be one that appreciates all the wonderful things that make a Beagle a Beagle—and has the patience to work through the challenging puppy moments too.
