Beagle Dogs Available for Adoption

Rizzo is a 7 year old, 28# bundle of charm who appears to be a delightful blend of Beagle mix…or maybe a little bit of everything. He could stand to lose a couple of pounds.

This sweet boy is clearly used to the comforts of home life. He came to us locally, after his family sadly divorced. He’s house trained, crate trained, and has fully embraced his role as a professional couch potato. Rizzo loves nothing more than snuggling up on the couch or curling up in bed with his people. He’s calm, affectionate, and would make an amazing companion for someone looking for a laid back and loyal sidekick.

Rizzo is dog and cat friendly, but prefers other little dogs. He would do fine as an only as well. He would probably prefer to have all his family’s loving. He has politely met a toddler. He was friendly, but we always recommend supervision with dogs and children.

If you’re looking for a low key, loyal, loving little friend who will happily keep you company and warm your couch, Rizzo may be your guy.

Adopters must live within 175 miles of the Quad Cities. All pets currently in the home must be routinely kept up to date on shots, prevention and fixed to be approved for adoption.
