Meet the very sweet senior, Pixie! Don't let her age or history fool you - she is full of life and love and is a sweet, gentle soul. If you entertain her, she'll entertain you!

Pixie came to us from a Kentucky shelter and wasn't cared for as she should have been. Prior to coming into our care, Pixie was underweight, had hernia repair surgery, several dental extractions and did test positive for Lyme and Ehrlichia - both tick-borne diseases. We've also discovered that she is either very hard of hearing or deaf.

Despite all that, she's both peppy and chill! She's friendly with other dogs and people and is just looking to live her best life - filled with love, kisses, comfort and care - which is what she deserves!

As part of our Silver Paws program for senior dogs (7 years and above), this dog has had a thorough senior pet exam, complete bloodwork, and (if recommended by a veterinarian) a dental cleaning.

The adoption fee for this dog is $250, which includes routine vetting and spay/neuter.
