Meet Ember
Ember is a bright little spark looking for a forever home through Basset and Beagle Rescue of the Heartland. Born around the second week of December, this tiny girl currently weighs about 9 pounds and is very much in her puppy era: curious, playful, and full of wiggles.
Ember came to rescue with her brother and sister from southern Missouri, and while we're not entirely sure what mix she is yet, a DNA test is pending to solve the mystery. What we do know is that she is 100% puppy.
In true puppy fashion, Ember is learning her manners, including working on biting inhibition and understanding “no bite.” She loves to play with people, her siblings, and toys, and she brings a joyful energy to everything she does. One of her sweetest traits is that she already understands routine: When Ember goes into her playpen, she knows it's time to settle down for a nap or call it a night. Smart cookie
Ember will be ready for adoption after approximately February 21st. This allows time for her to be up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed, so she can start her next chapter healthy and ready for love.
If you're looking for a playful, affectionate puppy who is already learning structure and routines, Ember may be the perfect little flame to warm your heart. You can add some warmth to your life by applying for Ember at www.bassetandbeagle.org. Her adoption fee is $450.00
