Meet Bugle Boy 🐾💔➡️💖
Some dogs come to us with their history neatly written. Bugle Boy arrived with blank pages — we don’t know where he’s been or what he’s endured. What we do know is that this approximately one-year-old beagle found himself in a shelter, scared and uncertain, until we pulled him into safety. Now he’s facing another challenge: heartworm treatment. It’s not an easy journey, but Bugle Boy is bravely pushing through.
At first, he can be shy, as if he’s learned to be careful with his heart. But once he feels safe, his walls fall away. He becomes friendly, affectionate, and devoted — the kind of dog who presses close just to be sure you’re really there.
Bugle Boy does have one important rule for his future home: no chickens, poultry, or small wildlife. His beagle instincts run deep, and he will happily try to “hunt,” so he needs an environment where everyone stays safe.
Bugle Boy is searching for more than just a home — he’s searching for someone willing to give a little extra patience, a little extra love, and a soft place to land while he heals. In return, he’ll give you a loyal heart that knows exactly how precious love can be. 💙🐾
This pet is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, has received parasite prevention, and will be neutered before adoption. All of this is included in the adoption fee.
