Meet SKYE & FRED – A bonded Beagle pair who deserve to stay together!
Fred (10-year-old male) and Skye (8-year-old female) are sweet siblings who have been through far too much in their lives.
Fred was found wandering the streets. Two days later, his owner came forward and surrendered both him and his sister Skye. The family had taken them in after their original owner passed away, but they struggled financially and the dogs suffered from severe neglect. When they came to us, both were in rough shape — overgrown nails curled into paws (one of Skye’s had grown into her pad), dirty ears, and terrible dental disease.
Fred needed a neuter and a full dental — he lost 18 teeth. Skye also had surgery and dental work, though she lost fewer teeth. Bloodwork shows Skye may have Addison’s disease, and we are doing further testing to confirm and manage it properly.
Both dogs have some joint issues: Fred has arthritis in his shoulder and occasionally limps, while Skye has a degenerative issue in her back leg that also causes limping. They will both need to stay on joint supplements for comfort and mobility.
Despite their difficult past, Fred and Skye are gentle, loving Beagles who clearly adore each other. They need to be adopted
together
as a bonded pair. They are looking for a quiet, patient home that understands senior dogs and is willing to provide the extra medical care and love they need to thrive in their golden years.
These two have already lost so much — please don’t let them lose each other. If you have room in your heart and home for a bonded Beagle duo, Fred and Skye would be incredibly grateful.

All our dogs are in foster homes so not all are available to attend all our park meetups.
Our meetup group playdates allow you to socialize your beagle with his/her own breed at dog parks with large fenced areas where the beagles can run and play off-leash. Beagle enthusiasts, come bay with us..... AROOOOOOOOOOOO!
