Chantilly Cake aka Chantilly Lace is a precious young girl who was saved from euthanasia with her 6 puppies with only minutes to spare. The marks on her small body and face told the story of her short life - starvation, fear, and abuse. She was completely shut down, trembling and huddled around her babies. Such a devoted little momma.

In just four short weeks, this sweet, funny 29-pound girl has come so incredibly far. She now greets her foster with the cutest tiny-toothed smile and happy little squeaks. She's slowly learning to trust again and has even started asking for pets and ear scratches.

Chantilly loves to eat (as she should after everything she's been through!) and will gently cuddle up beside you once she feels safe. Watching her blossom has been nothing short of amazing.

She truly is special and will make a wonderful family dog for someone willing to continue showing her love and patience.
