DESCRIPTION
Hi, my name is DeeDee. I am from Alabama.
DeeDee is blossoming more each day now that she's had time to settle in. She is shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, her sweet personality shines through. It does take time, so she is looking for someone who is patient and able to help her decompress gradually.
This lovely girl is potty trained, though she is displaying some marking behaviors when she smells other dogs. We are hopeful her upcoming spay will end that.
She is comfortable with just a few (1-2) steps down from the house-she's still building confidence with full flights of stairs, and her future family can help her continue that journey at her own pace.
Quiet, gentle, and incredibly easy to have around, DeeDee is the kind of dog who quietly steals your heart.
ABOUT: BEAGLE DOG BREED
The Beagle is a beloved breed known for its friendly nature, curious personality, and distinctive howl. These small to medium sized dogs are incredibly sociable and get along well with both humans and other pets. Beagles are curious and energetic, always eager to follow a scent with their incredible sense of smell, making them excellent hunting and tracking dogs. Their short coat is easy to maintain, and they are adaptable to various living environments, making them popular companions for families and individuals alike.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
