PRINCESS IS CURRENTLY FOSTERED NEAR CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA.

Princess is a 3–4-year-old Beagle mix who was taken in during the freeze in Texas after tragically losing her babies to the cold. Despite everything she’s endured, she remains a gentle and loving girl who is ready for a fresh start in a calm, understanding home.

Princess can be shy at first while she builds trust, but once she feels safe, she enjoys snuggles, hugs, and being close to her people. She prefers a quieter environment and thrives with patience and routine. She is potty trained, crate trained, and continues gaining confidence on leash. Princess does well with other dogs and appreciates slow, positive introductions.

Princess is heartworm positive, which is common among strays in the South. The good news is that she is completing treatment and is on her way to being heartworm negative soon. If you have any questions about her health, please don’t hesitate to reach out via email.

Princess is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, on monthly preventative, dewormed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $400.
