DESCRIPTION
Grover is an 8 year old beagle pug mix weighing about #50. He came to Angels for Animals in 2019, adopted and returned in Feb 2025 due to a bad skin infection that has been taken treated. He will continue to need medicated baths to keep his skin nice and healthy. The better quality his diet, the less skin problems. Grover is a sweet boy with some pep still in his step! He loves to go on walks, rides well in the car, seems to get along with other dogs, cats unknown! He settles down nicely and like to sit with you on his bed. If you are interested in meeting Grover, please fill out an application from our website angelsforanimals.org Once received, we will contact you to make an appointment.
ABOUT: BEAGLE DOG BREED
The Beagle is a beloved breed known for its friendly nature, curious personality, and distinctive howl. These small to medium sized dogs are incredibly sociable and get along well with both humans and other pets. Beagles are curious and energetic, always eager to follow a scent with their incredible sense of smell, making them excellent hunting and tracking dogs. Their short coat is easy to maintain, and they are adaptable to various living environments, making them popular companions for families and individuals alike.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
