DESCRIPTION
Hi, I'm Bernard! I may be an older gentleman, but I've still got plenty of puppy spirit. My absolute favorite thing is running around the yard with other dogs, especially my foster sister. I would love a playful sibling and a fenced backyard where I can explore, zoom around, and stretch out in the sunshine for naps.
When I meet new people, I can be a little shy at first, but I'm also excited and curious. Give me a little time, maybe a treat and some ear scratches, and I'll happily follow you around. I'm very food motivated, love playing with my toys, and I'm great at sharing. I even like to "hide" my toys in my crate and think I'm being very sneaky about it.
At the end of the day, I'm happiest curled up in my bed, snoozing with a big smile on my face. If you're looking for a sweet, happy guy who will bring smiles and sunshine to your home, I just might be your perfect match.
Love, Bernard ...
ABOUT: BEAGLE DOG BREED
The Beagle is a beloved breed known for its friendly nature, curious personality, and distinctive howl. These small to medium sized dogs are incredibly sociable and get along well with both humans and other pets. Beagles are curious and energetic, always eager to follow a scent with their incredible sense of smell, making them excellent hunting and tracking dogs. Their short coat is easy to maintain, and they are adaptable to various living environments, making them popular companions for families and individuals alike.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
