DESCRIPTION
Hi, I'm Barnaby, a very good boy who's still learning how to live in a real home. I came from a hoarding situation, so some things are new to me, but I'm gentle, curious, and trying my best every day.
I'm a nice mix of energetic and chill and love going on walks, especially when I get to sniff everything along the way. I'm very food motivated and always on the lookout for snacks, so I'll keep you on your toes in the kitchen. I'm non destructive, don't need a crate, and have great house manners overall.
I enjoy affection, pets, and praise and will happily seek them out. I'm not a big snuggler yet, but I'll sit with you for a bit before heading back to my comfy bed when I feel unsure. I'm friendly with people of all ages and I'm cat friendly too, though I might get a little jealous if I see you giving your cat extra love.
Other dogs are my absolute favorite. I love them so much and would thrive in a home with a best friend to show me the ropes. My perfect family has another dog, a yard to explore, and humans who are excited to dote on me and help me keep building confidence.
XOXO, Barnaby ...
ABOUT: BEAGLE DOG BREED
The Beagle is a beloved breed known for its friendly nature, curious personality, and distinctive howl. These small to medium sized dogs are incredibly sociable and get along well with both humans and other pets. Beagles are curious and energetic, always eager to follow a scent with their incredible sense of smell, making them excellent hunting and tracking dogs. Their short coat is easy to maintain, and they are adaptable to various living environments, making them popular companions for families and individuals alike.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
