Meet Brio an approx. 6-month-old Beagledor mix, weighing 18 pounds (as of 2/20/26). This sweetheart was a cast member on the Real Strays of Tennessee, but what she really wants is to be a Real House Dog of New England! She hopes you’ll bring her home so she can love you fur-ever!
Brio can best be described as a cuddler, snuggler, and a darn good hugger! This girl is sure to cheer you up on your darkest days or even the days that have you feeling meh. Whatever the occasion, she’s ready to make you happy. But it’s not just you. Oh no. Her love and friendliness extend to dogs, kids, and even that Trader Joe’s cashier who asks way too many personal questions! While she hasn’t met cats yet, Brio hopes to charm them with her puppy energy as well.
Brio likes to say that she’s fun sized because she’s short like her mom and just as adorable! She’s always ready for an adventure and hopes her future family will take her along wherever they go. All Brio asks is that her future family has patience with her when it comes to puppy training. While she’s not house trained fully, she can use a dog door so bonus points if you happen to have that! She has experience with crates but will need some help with leash walking. Treats don’t hurt, so please keep ‘em coming!
What are you waiting for? Bring Brio home today!
All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works.

Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
