Meet Walter
Walter is an adorable adult beagle mix with the kind of puppy dog eyes that will melt your heart in seconds. One look at that sweet face, and you’ll understand why everyone who meets him falls in love.
Walter has a gentle, loving personality and is simply looking for the best home ever—a place where he can relax, feel safe, and be part of the family. He’s the kind of dog who will happily be your loyal companion, whether you’re going for a walk, watching TV, or just enjoying a quiet moment together.
He’s past the puppy stage but still has plenty of love and life to give. Walter would do great with someone who appreciates a laid-back, affectionate dog who just wants to be by your side.
If you’ve been searching for a sweet, soulful companion with irresistible eyes and an even bigger heart, Walter might just be your perfect match
We do not have a facility for you to visit. You are welcome to email ccrcdogs@ccrcdogs.com with specific questions, but please complete the online application, which can be found at www.ccrcdogs.com, to secure your position in line for one of our dogs. You can also find a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10-day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fees are listed on our website and cover the cost of the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. Most dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers so there is often very little known about their history or current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC has a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, and we have trainers who will offer free phone/email support.
