Basset Hound Dogs Available for Adoption

Come one, come all...the "Flash Show" is always on repeat and she loves new viewers! This girl walks into a room and lets it be known that it is now all about her! :-) Personality comes in bulk when it comes to our girl Flash and she is all things Bassett! Short legs...check. Giant ears...check. Endless goofiness...check. Knows what she wants...check, check! She makes you smile with every glance her way and she exudes happiness to every human she encounters!

Flash spent the last year living in a small, outdoor kennel. Luckily, a very loving human knew about her and asked her owners if she could take her before the horrible winter weather hit our area. We are not only glad that her previous owners were willing to get her into a better situation, but that someone cared enough to get her safe! Flash did originally live in the home so is potty and crated trained. She knows very well however, that she is to be spoiled and inside in her next home...sun bathing outside is now a choice when the urge arises!

Flash is around 2.5 years old and 40lbs. She is a perfect weight...though she thinks she should have snacks at all times. She'll do anything for a treat! Flash is a young Bassett and full of energy and silly antics. She comes by her confident voice naturally and is not afraid to ask for what she wants. If hounds aren't your thing, then Flash is not your girl. Flash will thrive in a home who understands the amazing traits and quirks of hounds and while she isn't what we would call high energy, she does have a nose she likes to follow with giant ears that occasionally seem to not work. LOL This girl will bring so much love and fun into any home! She does great with children and adores affection! She currently lives in a foster home with cats and has no issues sharing her space with them. She has also done well with other dogs but does have a more take charge personality and would likely match best with another dog or dogs who don't mind letting someone else run the show. This girl is ready to find her Bassett loving humans and tell them all her stories!

Flash's adoption fee includes her spay, microchip, heartworm/tick borne illness testing, vaccines, dewormings and flea/tick/heartworm prevention!
