Dickerson is a very boy that loves everyone he meets. And because he is so handsome, everyone that meets him loves him. He and his sister, Lydia, were found by a Good Samaritan when they were very small and they have been together every since. They are a bonded pair and will need to go together. They are fun loving and love to play. They are good with dogs, cats and have been around chickens with no problem.
Dickerson is currently in the Northeast, however transport can be arranged with his sister. A portion of their adoption fees will be applied toward transport.

ABOUT: BASSET HOUND DOG BREED
The Basset Hound is a unique and recognizable breed known for its long body, droopy ears, and soulful eyes. Originating from France, they were originally bred for hunting small game like rabbits due to their keen sense of smell and sturdy build. Despite their laid back and affectionate nature, Basset Hounds are also persistent and independent thinkers, which can make training a bit challenging. With their low energy levels and love for lounging, they make wonderful companion dogs for families seeking a loyal and easygoing pet.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
