Basset Hound and Dachshund Dogs Available for Adoption

Daisy is about 2 years old and 30 lbs. She is a low-rider with her short stubby legs and long body. We were told she is a bassett hound possibly mixed with a dachshund. Daisy came to us from a shelter in Kentucky. She was living outside with several other dogs. Chained to a tree with her 5 puppies laying on the hard ground, the shelter took her in and put them in a foster home. Fast forward 6 weeks..... they are here with us! Daisy is a bit on the "needy" side, loving attention and wanting to be near her people. She is a friendly girl with a lower energy level and a heart of gold. Daisy is loving her new life of living in a warm house with friendly people. She likes to go outside to potty and will bark when she needs to go out. Daisy is a sweet girl who has had a hard life so far. She is too nice of a dog not to have a happy family. She has weaned her puppies and is now looking for a new start. All of her vet care will be updated including her spay.

Note: We do not promise housebreaking because we do not know the routine in your home. I would expect she will need supervision until she learns the new routine.
