π₯―πΎ Meet Bagel πΎπ₯―
Freshly arrived and already stealing hearts... it's Bagel!
Bagel is a 3-year-old Basset Dachshund mix (aka low-rider perfection) weighing in at a solid 37 pounds of sweetness. He was found as a stray alongside his buddy Lox, and now he's starting his next chapter while we get to know just how special he is. π
Bagel is the quieter half of the duo -- a little shy at first and understandably nervous in new or loud environments. But give him a little time and a gentle approach, and he warms up quickly, showing his soft, affectionate side. He's the kind of dog who just needs a moment to feel safe... and then he's yours.
We're still learning all about Bagel, but one thing is already clear: he's a sweet, sensitive boy who's going to make a wonderful companion for someone willing to go at his pace and help him settle into home life.

ABOUT: BASSET HOUND DOG BREED
The Basset Hound is a unique and recognizable breed known for its long body, droopy ears, and soulful eyes. Originating from France, they were originally bred for hunting small game like rabbits due to their keen sense of smell and sturdy build. Despite their laid back and affectionate nature, Basset Hounds are also persistent and independent thinkers, which can make training a bit challenging. With their low energy levels and love for lounging, they make wonderful companion dogs for families seeking a loyal and easygoing pet.
The dachshund is a small dog breed known for its long body, short legs, and distinctive appearance. Originally bred for hunting badgers, these playful and loyal dogs make loving companions for families. Dachshunds come in three coat varieties smooth, wirehaired, and longhaired each with its own unique charm. Despite their size, dachshunds are bold and courageous, with a curious nature that can sometimes lead to mischief. Their endearing personality and adaptability make them popular pets worldwide.
