Meet Cali – Your New Adventure Buddy
Cali is a sweet, happy girl who’s ready to bring love and fun into her forever home! Born on 1/8/2026, this little lady is full of playful energy and puppy charm.
She loves romping around with her foster brother and sister (both larger breed dogs) and keeps up with them like a pro. Despite her playful side, Cali isn’t much of a barker — she’s more about the fun than the fuss!
Cali adores people and is always ready to greet you with a kiss or two before she’s off on her next little adventure. She thrives on affection and loves being part of the action.
She’s currently working on house training and is doing well settling into her crate at night. With continued patience and consistency, she’ll keep making great progress. She hasn’t met a cat yet, but based on her easygoing personality, we don’t anticipate it being a big issue with proper introductions.
If you’re looking for a loving, playful pup who will happily be your sidekick, Cali is your girl. Come meet her at one of our events or submit an application to meet this lovable doll — she can’t wait to find her forever family!
ABOUT: AUSTRALIAN CATTLE DOG BLUE HEELER DOG BREED
The Australian Cattle Dog, also known as the Blue Heeler, is a hardworking and intelligent breed originally developed in Australia for herding cattle. Renowned for their endurance and agility, these medium sized dogs have a striking blue or red speckled coat and alert, curious expression. With a strong herding instinct and boundless energy, they require mental stimulation and physical activity to thrive. Blue Heelers are loyal, protective, and make excellent companions for active individuals or families willing to provide the engagement and exercise they need.
The Basset Hound is a unique and recognizable breed known for its long body, droopy ears, and soulful eyes. Originating from France, they were originally bred for hunting small game like rabbits due to their keen sense of smell and sturdy build. Despite their laid back and affectionate nature, Basset Hounds are also persistent and independent thinkers, which can make training a bit challenging. With their low energy levels and love for lounging, they make wonderful companion dogs for families seeking a loyal and easygoing pet.
