DESCRIPTION
Meet Journey!
Blue eyed Journey is a 4 ½-year-old, 80-pound bundle of energy and love! He’s playful, sweet, and goofy, always ready for fun and adventure. Journey absolutely loves to run, so he would thrive in a home with a large outdoor space where he can stretch his legs and play.
He is crate trained, house trained, and knows several commands, including:
•Sit
•Five (high-five)
•Toy (he’ll fetch his toy for you)
• Haula (crate in Spanish—he’ll go right in!)
Journey enjoys playing fetch and is eager to please, though he still needs some work on leash training. He has not been around cats but does great with people and loves to have fun.
He is currently in Houston, TX, and can be transported to most states for a fee of $300.
ABOUT: BASENJI DOG BREED
The Basenji is a small hunting dog known for its unique traits, including a highly distinctive yodel like sound instead of a typical bark, and the inability to bark like other dogs. Originating from Africa, these intelligent and curious dogs are independent, agile, and alert, making them excellent companions for active individuals or families with experience handling their assertive nature. Recognized for their clean habits and cat like grooming behavior, basenjis require regular exercise and mental stimulation to thrive in a loving home environment.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
