// // Meet Cathy! She’s a 7-month-old, 27-pound Terrier/Basenji mix with the sweetest, most sensitive little soul. Cathy can be timid with new people and unfamiliar environments, so she’ll do best with a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time and is willing to let her move at her own pace. Once she feels safe, she blossoms into a gentle, affectionate companion who loves being near her person and forms deep, loyal bonds. Cathy gains confidence from other dogs and would thrive in a home with a friendly, well-adjusted pup who can help show her the ropes and make her feel secure. Her energy level is nicely balanced—she enjoys playful puppy moments and the occasional zoomies once she’s comfortable, but she’s not over-the-top and also appreciates calm downtime. She’s fully potty trained and uses a doggy door like a pro. Cathy is simply looking for a loving home that will give her the patience and reassurance she needs to settle in and truly shine. Her adoption fee is $350. A refundable training deposit of $100 will be also due upon adoption. Training must be provided in a timely fashion to ensure our pups become the best canine citizens. The training deposit will be refundable within 3 months of the adoption date.
All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption.
Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs,
