Basenji and Chihuahua Dogs Available for Adoption

Amy is a brave little survivor who quite literally saved her own life. Found alongside her sister on a busy road, she showed incredible spirit and determination from the very start — and that strength has blossomed into a joyful, loving puppy ready for a safe forever home.

At about 10 months old and 15 pounds, Amy is a petite bundle of energy and affection. She loves to move, play, and explore, and she’ll happily keep up with an active household. Just as much as she loves activity, she adores people and will soak up attention any chance she gets.

Amy gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would enjoy having a playful canine friend, though she’s just as happy being the center of your world. Her personality is bright, social, and full of life.

One of her most charming features is her fantastic ears — tall, expressive, and always on alert, like tiny antennas picking up every interesting sound. They give her an adorably curious look that perfectly matches her lively personality.

Amy is looking for a loving home where she can feel safe, cherished, and included in everyday life. In return, she’ll bring endless affection, fun, and a whole lot of heart to her new family.
Amy will arrive in Albion, NY in mid March and we would love to have a family waiting for her!

Our adoption fee is $400 and unless otherwise stated all dogs and puppies have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, 4DX tested(if age appropriate), Put on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, age appropriately vaccinated, dewormed, vet checked and flown from Puerto Rico. Originating from Africa, these intelligent and curious dogs are independent, agile, and alert, making them excellent companions for active individuals or families with experience handling their assertive nature. Recognized for their clean habits and cat like grooming behavior, basenjis require regular exercise and mental stimulation to thrive in a loving home environment.

The Chihuahua is a small breed famous for its confidence, loyalty, and big personality, despite its tiny size. Originating from Mexico, these dogs are known for their large, expressive eyes and alert, curious nature. Chihuahuas make excellent companions, forming strong bonds with their owners and displaying a protective nature. They come in a variety of coat colors and patterns, with both long and short coats, making them a diverse and adorable addition to any family.
