Meet Paoli. Paoli's story starts with heartbreak — she was found as a pregnant stray, still just a baby herself at only about 1–1.5 years old. The day after arriving in rescue, she gave birth to seven healthy puppies. Despite everything she's been through, she has been an great mom.

Paoli is a stunning blue merle with no tan points (self merle) girlie with a full tail and very long legs, she's a tall beauty! Right now she's underweight, but she's steadily gaining and we expect that once she's at a healthy weight, she'll be around 70–75 pounds.

She is dog friendly, cat friendly, and very loving. Paoli truly enjoys being around others and has a sweet, affectionate nature. She wants attention, connection, and to feel safe. She loves to snuggle and be loved on.

Because Paoli likely had little to no structure before coming into rescue, she's starting from scratch. She truly knows nothing yet, no basic obedience, no house manners, but she's young and has SO much potential. She will need a patient, committed adopter who understands that she's basically a big puppy in a grown-up body.

Paoli will absolutely need to be crated when unsupervised. She's curious and mischievous! She loves to put her nose to work and investigate anything in her space. She is so puppylike that she may chew something silly, but mostly she is just curious as to what everything is! We think maybe she was never even in a home before???? With structure, training, consistency, and exercise she will flourish into the AUSSOME girlie she can be! She just hasn't been taught yet. Paoli will need a fence or to be supervised when outside on a leash.

All the good stuff:
• She is potty trained as long as she's let out every 6–8 hours during the day.
• She is dog and cat friendly.
• She is incredibly loving, affectionate and people-oriented.
• She is young, smart, and very moldable/trainable.

She is highly food motivated and affection motivated. She is a total loving goofball.

Paoli needs a home ready to invest time in training, boundaries, and building her confidence. In return, you'll get a loyal, affectionate, strikingly beautiful companion who simply never had a chance to learn what a warm bed and couch means. She is ready for her fresh start and she truly deserves one as soon as possible. She is available for a foster to adopt home.

Paoli is not yet spayed which is why she needs a foster to adopt home. MASR will cover her medical expenses for her spay and ensure all medical is completed before adoption. She is vaccinated. Negative for all tick borne diseases, has been dewormed and microchipped.
