Sting is a 45 year old Australian Shepherd mix weighing about 64 pounds who is quietly learning that life can be kind. He came to us from a hoarding situation, and while he has already made wonderful progress, the world is still a new and sometimes overwhelming place for him.
Sting is a shy, timid boy with an incredibly sweet nature. Everyone who meets him says the same thing this dog doesnt have a mean bone in his body. He simply needs a little time and patience to feel safe and understand what it means to be part of a family.
Because of his background, Sting is still figuring out how to be a dog. One thing weve already learned about him though he absolutely loves the ladies! He takes comfort in gentle voices and calm companionship. We believe Sting would thrive in a home with a confident, friendly dog who can help show him the ropes and give him reassurance as he continues to blossom.
