Boggen is an 11‑year‑old Aussie mix with a story that tugs at the heart. Adopted as a young dog from SAAP, life took a few unexpected turns for this resilient guy. When his family left the country, Boggen was left behind at a shelter in Virginia. He was adopted again and spent the last five years in what he hoped was his forever home — until he found himself returned to a shelter once more just last week.

Despite all of that, Boggen has not lost his spark.

This handsome senior still has plenty of life left in him and is looking for a calm, loving home where he can finally settle in and stay. He enjoys companionship, routine, and the simple joys of being near his people. Boggen would love a home where he can enjoy leisurely walks, cozy naps, enjoy his stuffies and toys, and the comfort of knowing he won’t be left behind again.
