Luna is a stunning 3 year-old, 49-lb black-and-white Aussie mix with a gentle, magical presence. She joined the CAWS family after coming from a home with too many dogs, and we are so grateful to be part of her fresh start. Luna is incredibly sweet, a bit shy at first, and still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. Her foster family gives her all the time she needs to decompress, and she is blossoming beautifully.

She is fully house-trained and crate-trained, though she prefers to have the crate door open so she can come and go as she wishes. Luna loves curling up on the couch with her people and sleeping nearby at night. She is polite with other dogs, though a little timid.

Luna's personality is soft, affectionate, and completely free of meanness. She is gaining confidence every day and is ready to find a patient, quiet home where she can continue to feel safe. A fenced yard is a must so she can take her time exploring, lounging in the sun, and doing her business at her own pace. She walks nicely on leash but may need a bit of gentle encouragement.

Because of her submissive nature, Luna would do best in a home with older children or adults only. She's trustworthy when left alone and would thrive with adopters who are home often and who will not require her to be crated. Occasional brushing or a spa day will keep her coat looking gorgeous.
