Meet Sweetie

Sweetie is a 2-year-old, 47-lb Australian Shepherd who came to us when her owner could no longer care for her. She had been tied out, but despite that, Sweetie remains exactly true to her name - gentle, affectionate, and ready for a fresh start.

She's still settling in with us, but so far she's shown herself to be a very sweet girl who enjoys human connection and is eager for love and stability. We're continuing to learn more about how she does with cats and children, but based on her calm, friendly demeanor, we suspect she would do just fine with respectful kids.
