Meet Lila, a 5 month old, 20 pound beauty who is ready to discover just how wonderful life can be!

Found as a stray with her siblings, Lila is still learning about the magical things called couches, cozy beds, belly rubs, and humans who love you forever.

She’s a little shy, but oh so trusting, and underneath that cautious exterior is a playful, affectionate girl just waiting to blossom!

Humans? Loves them! Especially the cuddly kind.

Kids? Older, laid back, dog savvy kiddos would be lovely!

Other dogs? Yes, please! Playmates make everything better!

Cats? Still a mystery!

Potty training? Currently enrolled in the School of Good House Manners.

Leashes? Apparently, humans invented these strange rope contraptions and expect dogs to FOLLOW them?! Lila has questions.

Lila is looking for a dog-savvy family who enjoys training and is excited to help her grow into a confident, well mannered canine citizen.

For now, Lila needs a large, securely fenced yard where she can frolic, play, and build confidence while she learns that walks can actually be fun.

Lila doesn’t need someone to show her the whole world overnight. She just needs a patient, loving family willing to discover it with her.
