Waylon - Australian Shepherd and Golden Retriever Dog for Adoption in Cheyenne, Wyoming

Waylon is a sweet, gentle soul who tends to be a bit shy when meeting new people or exploring unfamiliar places. He's a classic "slow and steady" kind of guy, needing just a little patience and a calm environment to feel truly comfortable.

Once he realizes he's in good company, his nervous energy melts away, revealing a deeply affectionate and loyal companion. He's the type of dog who will eventually become your best friend, happily leaning into your side once he knows he's safe.

If you have a quiet home and a heart full of patience, Waylon is ready to be the perfect, loving shadow you've been looking for. He just needs someone to show him that the world isn't so scary after all.

Medical consideration explained:
Waylon injured his neck as a puppy. He sometimes coughs/ gags/ and makes grunting sounds as a result. To help keep him happy and comfortable, Waylon needs to be walked with a harness rather than a neck lead.
