•Sex: male, not neutered yet. So, he needs to stay in our relative.Area of the south bay or north.Orange county beach cities.
•Breed: Australian Shepherd
•Weight: 10 lbs currently, around 20 when full grown
•Housebroken: almost
•Kids: yes, kids 8 and older
•Other dogs: friendly with all other dogs and perfectly fine as an only dog.
•Cats: unknown
•Housing: We are looking to put him in a home with backyard space. No apartment/condo/townhome living. He needs yard space
•Personality: Austin is a darling boy. He has a happy go lucky personality. He loves going on walks and he is very smart.
•About the breed: please educate yourself on what you are adopting. Australian shepherds are a highly intelligent herding breed. They love having a job and will do it well. This breed is very active & very intelligent. So, if you do not nurture his brain and energy, they become destructive. If you are looking for a simple house dog or a backyard dog. This is NOT the breed for you. He needs active owners.
•What we know: Austin was bought from a breeder in Texas and delivered to his new home in California. As it turns out, his new owner was very allergic to him. The breeder would not take the dog back, so he was surrendered to rescue. Austin is currently in foster care and doing great.
•Medical: healthy. He's been vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. He will be neutered at 6 months old.
