WILLIE NEEDS A FOSTER HOME

Somehow, two years later, we're getting to introduce this handsome boy to you all over again.

The puppy in the first photo? That's Willie.
And the handsome 2-year-old boy in the second photo? Also Willie.

Willie was adopted from LOLAs Rescue as a puppy, and now he has found his way back to us and needs a foster home.

Willie is a 58-lb Border Collie/Pit mix who is wicked smart, affectionate, friendly, and eager to please. He loves to learn, enjoys running and playing, and is happiest when he's with his people.

He is:
2 years old
58 lbs
Neutered
Housebroken
Crate trained
Moderate energy
Great with the children he has been around
Has lived with cats and done well with them

Willie would love to be your one-and-only pup.

Willie's relationship with other dogs can be a little complicated. The majority of the time, he has played and interacted well with other dogs in home, daycare, and boarding environments, but he has also had some unpredictable moments with other dogs. Because of that, we feel he will be happiest and safest in a home where he doesn't have to share his space with another dog.

A dog-free foster home will give Willie the opportunity to settle in, relax, and thrive while we continue learning more about him.

What Willie needs in a foster:
• A home without other dogs
• A secure environment
• Structure and consistency
• Someone who enjoys an active, intelligent dog
• A little patience while he settles in

Willie has a lot of love to give and is ready for his next chapter.

If you can open your home to Willie, please apply to foster with LOLAs Rescue and send us a message once your application is submitted.

And please share this post. Willie has already been loved once by LOLAs — now we need to help him find where he belongs next.
