Australian Shepherd and Terrier Dogs Available for Adoption

Meet Wrigley! If you’ve ever dreamed of a puppy with a permanently “just happy to be here” expression, Wrigley is your guy. This sweet, slightly dopey, wonderfully easygoing boy is all about good vibes and simple pleasures.

Wrigley isn’t in a rush to do anything...unless it’s mealtime. He’s happy to bounce around with his siblings, but he’s just as content flopping over for belly rubs or waddling over to see what you’re up to. He has that lovable, goofy energy that makes you laugh without even trying. Sometimes he trips over his own paws. Sometimes he stares at you like he’s solving life’s biggest mysteries. It’s all part of his charm.

We suspect there may be some herding and terrier lineage in his family tree, which means there’s a smart little brain in there — even if he occasionally pretends otherwise. With positive reinforcement and consistency, he’ll grow into a loyal, steady companion who just wants to be near his people.

Wrigley would thrive in a home that appreciates a laid-back, affectionate pup who isn’t trying to run the show. He’s the kind of dog who will happily tag along on adventures but will never complain about a cozy couch and a good nap.

Wrigley is a 2-month-old mixed breed who was rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $800 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, and neuter. Wrigley is also tested with other dogs, cats, and children. He is working on potty and kennel training in foster care. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home.

The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.

We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)

Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed.

Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
