*Bree will be ready for adoption on Saturday, February 21.*
Meet Bree! If you’re drawn to the gentle, observant soul of the group, Bree may be your girl. While her littermates are busy throwing the party, Bree is thoughtfully taking it all in. She’s intelligent, sensitive, and quietly affectionate — the kind of puppy who forms deep bonds and chooses her people carefully.
Bree is the shyest of her siblings right now, often hanging back to assess new situations before jumping in. We suspect much of this reserved nature comes from competing with her rowdier littermates, and we fully expect her confidence to blossom once she’s in a home of her own where she can shine at her own pace. Beneath that cautious exterior is a sweet, cuddly puppy who genuinely enjoys close connection and cozy snuggles.
We suspect there may be some herding and terrier lineage in Bree’s family tree, which means she’s likely to grow into a smart and loyal companion. These breeds are known for their devotion and intuition, and Bree already shows signs of being deeply attuned to her environment. Bree will thrive in a patient, loving home that appreciates a softer personality and is willing to let her confidence unfold naturally. With encouragement and positive experiences, she has every opportunity to grow into a devoted, steady best friend.
If you’re looking for a thoughtful, tender-hearted pup who will reward your patience with unwavering loyalty and snuggles, Bree just might be your perfect match.
Bree is a 2-month-old mixed breed who was rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $800 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, and spay. Bree is also tested with other dogs, cats, and children. She is working on potty and kennel training in foster care. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home.
The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.
We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)
Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed.
Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned.
Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information about our organization, please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org.
